DigiFarm Product Year In Review 2021.

Wow! What a year it’s been. Sadly, we never manage to bring the entire team together from all corners of the world so we decided to send everyone a virtual Holiday greeting from all of us at DigiFarm 🎄🎉🥂

We couldn't be more thankful of the journey we’ve been on in 2021 and this deserves a very special thank you to the entire team who made it all possible 🙌 🥳
So proud of everyone. Here’s a short recap of what we managed to accomplish this year:

• Won the first prize in the Airbus Challenge INNOspace, won the Copernicus Masters Galileo Prize (Sweden), won the first prize in the Copernicus Accelerator Bootcamp pitch event and first place at the Oracle for Startup pitch event.

  
  

• Bootstrapped our entire journey to get to this point and secured (without consultants) one of the worlds most selective deep tech programs EIC Accelerator from EU Commission (only company from Innlandet, Norway) €6M+ in funding (equity + grant) along with additional soft funding this year from Innovation Norway, Norwegian Space Agency and European Space Agency.

  
  

• Had the opportunity to join some of the leading Agtech incubators and accelerators in Europe including Rootcamp (Spinlab), EIT FAN (sustainable agriculture), Copernicus Incubation, Copernicus Accelerator and CDL-Rockies (Ag-stream). We learned so much and felt it took our company to the next level.
  
  

• Expanded our technical partnerships and startup programs to include EOSC (European Open Science Cloud), Uninett/Sigma2 (Norway’s national HPC-center), the AWS Open Earth Initiative, AWS Activate, Oracle for Startups and NVIDIA Inception program.
  
  

• Grew our core team from 10 to 15 people strong.
  
  

• Secured 6 new partnerships and contracts with some of the leading agribusinesses both in Europe, US and APAC (partnership announcements coming soon).
  
  

• Launched the highest accuracy field boundary dataset in 5 new countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy and Norway with 25+ countries to launch next year.
